Linda Marie Eaton

Linda Marie Eaton, 68, of Shepherdstown, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born on March 13, 1948, she was the daughter of James and Lorene (Gandy) Cobb.

She was a graduate of Milltown High School in Milltown, Indiana. She was briefly employed by the Department of Commerce, United States Census Bureau however, most of Linda’s life was spent raising her two children and caring for her family. She was outstanding at both.

Linda was a member of the Club at Crest Creek in Shepherdstown. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Eaton; her two children, Kimberly Anne and John Howard, Jr.; four brothers, Lawrence, Lloyd, Leroy and Leon; and two sisters, Loretta and Lona.

Funeral services were held Wed. at 1 p.m., June 22, 2016, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland. The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. officiated.
