Gregory A. Gamble

Brother Gregory A. Gamble O.C.C, 64, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away at his home on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016.

Born March 21, 1952, in Concord, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Norman A. and Elizabeth Gamble.

Gregory was a 1974 graduate of Shepherd College with a B.A. in secondary education. For the last 12 years, Gregory was employed as the director of Resources at S.E.E.C.

He was a member of Christ Reformed Church in Shepherdstown. Gregory served on the Consistory and he was Brother Gregory of the Order of Corpus Christi.

Gregory is survived by his spouse, Marvin T. Clites; two sons, Joshua Gamble and wife, Brooke, and Justin Gamble and fiance, Rayna Flythe, all of Martinsburg; a brother, Norman E. Gamble and wife, Deborah, of Willow Hill, Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, MaKailee Wood; and a grandson, Brennan Gamble.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Christ Reformed Church, 304 E. German Sreet, Shepherdstown. The Rev. Gayle Bach-Watson and the Rev. Brother Ron Grubb, O.C.C, will officiate.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
