Eileen Virginia Fischer

Eileen Virginia Fischer, 68, of Falling Waters, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at her home.

She was born on June 12, 1948, in Keyser, to Phyllis Ann Ravenscroft Miller, of Westernport, Maryland and the late Perry Lawson Miller.

She was a 1966 graduate of Bruce High School in Westernport, Maryland. She received her Associate’s Degree from Potomac State; Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd College; and her Master’s Degree from West Virginia University.

Eileen was employed by Berkeley County Board of Education as a science teacher for 39 years, until retiring in 2010.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Fischer Jr.; son, Michael Alan Fischer and his wife, Denise, of Falling Waters; granddaughters, Erika Hope Fischer and Jordan Paige Fischer; sister, Judy Reynolds, of Milford, Delaware; sister, Karen Perkins, of Hedgesville; brother Carl Miller, of Barboursville, Virginia; and brother, Kenny Miller, of Warren, Vermont.

There will be no viewing.

Services will be private.
