Hezekiah Crum Marshall

Hezekiah Crum Marshall (Ky) of Shepherdstown, died peacefully on Dec. 13, 2016, at the age of 70.

He is survived by his daughter Meghan H. Marshall.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Laird Marshall and Rena (Brown) Marshall; an older brother, Benjamin Laird Marshall.

Ky served the Jefferson and Berkeley counties as a master electrician for most of his adult life. He owned and operated Mountain State Electronics and has worked at Todd Electrics in Ranson, Eastman Kodak in Washington D.C., and the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. Until 2011, he was a longtime member of, and served as elder for the Kearneysville Presbyterian Church in Kearneysville.

A loyal son of West Virginia, Ky will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity, both in action and in spirit, and for his joy in the simple things: good music, his own homemade wine, a satisfying meal all shared with those he loved.
