Louise Frances Albertson

Louise Frances Albertson, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.

Born July 10, 1945 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Felix Frank Sadowski and Elizabeth Gallo Sadowski.

Louise was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church.

Throughout her life, Louise inspired and influenced many, especially children, as a teacher in the public schools and as a Sunday School teacher. The memory of her kindness and loving smile will be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William Albertson, at home; two daughters, Deborah Louise “Debbie” Smith and husband, Rick of Kearneysville; and Kari Elizabeth Albertson Matthews and husband, Colin of Shepherdstown; one son, William David Albertson and wife, Melinda of Northville, Michigan, eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amelia, Caroline and Anna Smith; Lily and William Albertson and Josephine and Cordelia Matthews; one sister, Janet Bogard and husband Bo; two brothers, Tom Sadowski and wife, Teressa and David Sadowski and wife, Janice; two uncles, Charles Sadowski and Richard Gallo and several nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, James Albertson.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Covenant Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Joel Rainey officiating. Interment was in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg.
