Leland Carson Bradley
Leland Carson Bradley, 81, of Kearneysville, passed away Thursday, Mar. 9, 2017, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born Aug. 8, 1935, in Charles Town, he was the son of the late John and Nellie Pierce Bradley.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved going to the hunting camp in Hampshire County with the boys.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Martha, at home; four sons, Edward “Otie” Bradley and wife, Teresa, of Shepherdstown, Gregory Scott Bradley and friend, Dianna, of Shepherdstown, Mitchell Wade Bradley and wife, Joan, of Shepherdstown and Leland Curtis Bradley and fiance, Chastity Bradley, of Hedgesville; one sister, Linda Karns and husband, John; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Thomas, infant brother, Edward, Hugh and Truman Bradley.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Mar. 13, at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, with Pastor Dave Moser officiating. Interment was in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg.
