Ruth Arvin

Ruth Knott Daniels Arvin, 88, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 28, 1928, in Shepherdstown, she was the daughter of the late Freel and Grace Knott Daniels.

She attended Olivet United Methodist Church, Coatesville, where she was a member of the chancel choir.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Beverly MacIntire of Coatsville, and Molly Harple and her husband, John; her son, Jeff Arvin of East Fallowfield; and her beloved grandson, Josh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Arvin Jr.; sisters, Helen Knott Daniels and Lucille D. Hill; twin sister, Naomi Knott Crowl; and brother, Charles K. Daniels.

Friends will be received Wednesday, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
