Walter F. Lemaster
Walter Frank Lemaster, 89, of Shenandoah Junction, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Canterbury Center.
Born May 11, 1928, in Falling Waters, he was the son of the late Daniel Lemaster and Nellie Riner Lemaster.
He was a member of Bedington United Methodist Church.
Walter enjoyed fishing, and spending many hours watching birds and squirrels from his window. He also liked to put puzzles together and give them away.
He is survived by his two sons, Roger D. Lemaster and wife, Rebecca, of Shepherdstown and Mark D. Lemaster of Gerrardstown; two daughters, Audra McGee and husband, Alden, of Romney, and Reva Golt and husband, Keith, of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ethel Virginia Brady Lemaster; brother, Howard Lemaster; and sister, Gladys Silver.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Brown Funeral Home.
Services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walter Bowers officiating. Interment is in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
