Janell P. Jaranko

Janell Patricia Jaranko, 67, of Shenandoah Junction, WV passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Fairfax INOVA.

Born February 12, 1950 in Durant, OK, she was the daughter of the late Joe Pat Green and Georgia Johnson Green.

She was of the Christian faith.

Janell was a retired medical secretary from the office of Natural Health and Acupunture in Frederick, MD. She attended Michigan State and spent most of her life in Michigan. She was an avid gardener and a lover of flowers, with both thumbs being green. She was also an avid traveler, both in the US and abroad. She always said “have tent; will travel.”

She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Greg, at home; three sons, Noel Adomitis and wife, Avigail; Gregory Jaranko and Bradley Jaranko; one granddaughter, Vivian Adomitis; two brothers, Jack Green and Jay Green and a host of extended family in MI, OK and TX.

Services were held on Tuesday at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will be in Uvilla United Methodist Cemetery.
