F. Jean Hoffman

F. Jean Morrison Hoffman, 88, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at Canterbury Center.

She was born March 18, 1929, at home in Uvilla, Jefferson County, and was the daughter of the late George C. Morrison and Virginia Flood Morrison.

She was a member of Uvilla United Methodist Church and had attended Trinity United Methodist Church for many years where she taught Sunday school. She was a 1947 graduate of Shepherdstown High School and a member of the Shepherdstown High School Alumni Association.

She is survived by two sons, James K. Hoffman and wife, Ginny, of Leetown, and Ronald E. Hoffman, of Martinsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth William Hoffman; two brothers, Robert and Strother Morrison; and four sisters, Charlotte Kidwiler, Elizabeth Mahoney, Katheryn Houser, and Naomi Baker.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at Brown Funeral Home.

Service were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Brown Funeral Home. Interment was private in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
