Ann E. Kisner

Ann Elizabeth Kisner, “Grandma,” 93, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Canterbury Center, Shepherdstown.

Born Aug. 21, 1924, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Miller.

A 1942 graduate of Martinsburg High School and a 1945 graduate of Kings Daughter Training School, Elizabeth worked as a Registered Nurse until retiring in 1986.

She is survived by three sons, Larry (Sharon) Kisner, Steven (Joyce) Kisner and Phillip (Karen) Kisner; one daughter, Winnie Kisner; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special sisters-in-law, Ruth Kisner and Elinor Byers.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Marshall Glenn Kisner; and an infant daughter, Sally Ann Kisner.

Elizabeth was a member of the Galilean Baptist Church of Shepherdstown.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Canterbury Center for the excellent and loving care they provided our dear mother over the last two years.
