Barbara Annette Craft
Barbara Annette Craft (Weber), age 55, passed away due to complications from metastatic breast cancer on November 24, 2019 at her home in Charles Town, West Virginia.
She was born in Pirmasens, W. Germany on December 3, 1963.
She is preceded in death by her brother Peter Weber and father Kurt Weber.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years Jerry D. Craft, daughter Lucie; mother Edeltraud Weber, sister Rosemarie Weidler, her husband Frank Weidler of Waldfischbach Germany, nephew Sasha Weber of Ludwigshafen, Germany.
Educated in Germany, she studied linguistics and international business trade at the University of Saarbrcken. She worked for a major insurance company before starting her own billing practice.
Barbara was an avid reader, multi-talented musician, and active member of her community. She supported better education and was a strong advocate for women’s suffrage, the elderly, and underprivileged. She had a passion for her life, home, and those who surrounded her.
Everyone that knew and loved Barbara will miss her joyful, loving spirit.
A memorial service will be held on December 14, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church (111 South Seminary Street, Charles Town, West Virginia) by Rev. Diane Day.
