Margaret Marlow Link

Margaret Marlow Link, 97, of Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 after being under the care of the Grenich Care facility in Bunker Hill, West Virginia for the last three years.
She was the daughter of the late George and Ida Marlow of Charles Town. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Adam B. Link, Jr., her sister, Virginia Widmyer, and grandson, Adam B Link IV. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Wilmer, her husband, John, and daughter, Tamara Quinn, and husband, John, and grandchildren, Victoria and Quint Obendorfer, son, Calvin H. Peterson III, his wife, Tarra, and son, Liam Joseph Peterson, son, Adam B. Link III, and his wife, Diane, and son, Alexander B. Link.
Margaret worked in the 1950s and 1960s at Emmertts, in Martinsburg, managing the cosmetic department. She then became a dental assistant in Charles Town at Dr. Charles Cunningham’s office until retiring in the ’80s. She and husband have been seasonal “snowbirds” in Florida for over 35 years.
Margaret was a member of the Eastern Star in Shepherdstown going through the various stations; a 4-H leader for the Rumsey Climbers 4-H Club for 15 years; a volunteer Pink Lady at Jefferson Memorial Hospital; and a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Uvilla for many years. She graduated from Charles Town High School with the class of 1942.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at the St. James Lutheran Church, Uvilla with Pastor Karen Erskine-Valentine officiating.
Interment will be private.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 2008, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
