Dara L. Englebright

Dara Lane Englebright, 37, of Martinsburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, following a very brave four year battle with cancer.

Dara graduated from Jefferson High School in 2001 and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Hagerstown Business College in 2004.

Dara will be remembered for her love of animals, her kindness, and her sense of humor. She had five dogs because she could never say “no” to anyone in need. She loved her family, 80’s music, and old movies.

She is survived by one son, Paul Drutch, of Ellicott City, Maryland; her father, Kevin Englebright, of Martinsburg; long-term partner, Larry D. Boyd, of Martinsburg; maternal grandmother, Peggy Hendricks, of Martinsburg; her aunt and uncle, Dana and Clayton Anders of Shenandoah Junction; her aunt and uncle, Joyce and Stephen Englebright, of Martinsburg; cousins, Clay Anders of Shepherdstown, Carly Anders of San Diego, California, Brian Englebright of Martinsburg; dozens of beloved extended family members, countless friends, and her five dogs.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Englebright,; maternal grandfather, Daniel Hendricks, and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Annabelle Englebright.

Services and interment will be private.
