Charles E. Walker
Charles E. Walker, 76, of Shenandoah Junction, a loving husband, father and grandfather, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, in Sahuarita, Arizona.
Born Dec. 26, 1943, in Charles Town, he was the son of Charles B. Walker and Margaret E. (Sager) Walker. He was raised by Lewis Wilson (Pete) Sager and Alta Lee (Nichols) Sager.
Charles (Charlie) retired from Capital Cement, Charles Town Races and umpiring high school baseball and Jefferson County Little League for over 25 years.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Shenandoah Junction.
He was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School, class of 1961.
He is survived by his sons, Randy E. Walker and wife, Kenda, of Sahuarita, Arizona and Jonathan D. Walker and wife, Dao, of Ranson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kat) Walker Juarez, Cole Walker, Colin Walker, Kloe Walker, Merik Walker, Larkin Walker, and Mike’s widow, Bethany (Beemiller) Walker and her children, Kaiden Kilmer and Sidney Kilmer; his sister, Frances (Walker) Snyder and husband, William J. Snyder, of Shepherdstown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Donna J. Walker, son, Michael L. Walker, grandson, Justin Walker, sister, JoAnn (Walker) Glassford and her husband, George R. Glassford Sr.
