Judith A. Laidlow

Judith Ann Laidlow, 64, of Martinsburg, beloved friend to so many, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 7, 2021 unexpectedly at her home.

Judy was born Dec. 14, 1956 in Martinsburg, WV. She graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1975, and Shepherd College in 1980. She received a master’s degree from West Virginia University.

Judy was employed by the Berkeley County Board of Education as a teacher at Martinsburg High School until her retirement in 2018. She continued to serve as a tennis coach for Martinsburg High School until her passing.

Judy was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and prayed faithfully every day for all of her friends and loved ones to know, and love Jesus.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Arlene Laidlow; her stepmother, Evelyn Laidlow, and her loving sister, Kyle Marie Jackson.

She is survived by several cousins, and a multitude of special friends.

Family received friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home.

Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery was with Pastor Patricia Sebring officiating.
