Catherine V. Cook

Catherine Virginia Cook, 95, of Charles Town, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. She was born Feb. 2, 1926 in Charles Town. Catherine was a member of the House of Prayer Church of God.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Horne of Winchester, Virginia, Margaret Doleman and husband Gary of Summit Point and Ella Doleman of Charles Town, Kenneth “Bubble” Curry, who was like her son, nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Virginia Birckhead, four brothers and one sister, son in-laws; Francis Doleman and Benjamin Horne.

Funeral services was held noon Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Paul E. Brown and John “Sonny” Price officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Charles Town. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
