Janet M. Creamer

Janet May Jones Creamer of Falling Waters, WV passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2021. She is now in her forever home with her Lord and Savior. Janet was born on March 16, 1938, in Shepherdstown, WV to the late Woodrow Wilson Jones and Katherine Jones Keller. Janet was also predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Gilbert “Sonny” Creamer.

Janet was retired from Martin’s Food Market, however her lifelong job was caring for her family with an unconditional love. Although she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on forever in each of us. We take comfort knowing that she is in the loving arms of Jesus. Janet is survived by her two daughters and son in laws, who loved her dearly, Candace and Greg Smith and Carri and David Carper. She adored her 6 grandchildren and their spouses: David Carper (Emily), Philip Files (Summer), Charles Files (Ashley), Janelle Ellis (C.J.), Peyton Welch (Todd), and Leah Smith. She was also blessed with 8 beautiful great grandchildren whom she adored, Presleigh, Kylynne, Jhett, Fenton, Sheldon, Cannon, Selah, Camden, and a baby boy on the way. Janet was one of 9 children, and she is survived by 3 sisters, Peggy Schaffer, Vonnie “Susie” Price, and Trudy Shutts and 2 brothers, Dennis Keller, and Kevin Keller. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Larry Jones, Vincent “Butch” Jones and Donnie Keller.

Janet has donated her body to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. There was a memorial service 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
