Milton D. Demory

Milton Dale Demory, of Pikeview Acres in Martinsburg, passed away July 7, 2021; he was 93 years young.

Born in Shepherdstown on Jan. 14, 1928, he was the son of the late Walter and Irene Demory.

Milton had eight siblings: Margaret Huffer, Annabell Osbourn, Juanita Moler, Velma Moler, Johnny Demory, Howard Demory, and Naomi Miller who are all deceased; and Rebecca Prather of Orlando, Florida.

Milton is survived by his wife of 26 years, Vicki Lynn Demory; one son: Walter Dale Demory and wife, Kim Ellen Demory and their children: Andrew, Annette, and Shawn; and his grandchildren: Brycen, Connor, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Nick Demory; and is survived by his children: Jenna, Jamie, Aaron, Beth, and Carrie; and his grandchildren: Annabelle, Charlee, Brody, Gavon, Poppy, Pippa, Isaiah, Hank, Isabella, Abagail, Haley, Ethan, Austin, and Ian; step-sons: Daniel Jr., Jaye M., and Christian M. Hook all of LaVale, Maryland.

Milton was a retiree of General Motors after 29 years of employment. After retirement, he proceeded to have a lawn mowing business for over 20 years. Milton was a lover of animals.

Vicki would like to extend a special thank you to Otteriman Church for years of home visitation and delicious food served; Mary Louise Yost for the get together for Milton’s 86 yr.; Cynthia Perry for visiting regular at War Memorial Hospital; Jaye M. Services will be private. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
