Ryan G. Reynolds

Ryan Grant Reynolds, 50, of Martinsburg, passed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021.

He was born Dec. 13, 1971 in Martinsburg, WV to Wallace P. Reynolds, Jr. and the late Judith Carol Cushwa Reynolds.

He worked for the White House Veterans Administration Hotline, Verizon and taught at Little Eagle Childcare Center.

Ryan was active in the local Apollo theatre and surrounding community theatres. He was a former member of Blue and Gray Barbershop Chorus in Inwood.

He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School and attended Shepherd University.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Allison (Chris) Loizos; nephews, Alexander (Jennifer) Loizos and Justin (Salena) Loizos; great-niece, Erasmia Alexandra Loizos; uncles, William (Teresa) Cushwa, Robert (Linda) Cushwa, Richard (Leslie) Cushwa; aunts, Betty Brown and Alisa Cushwa; numerous cousins; and dear friend Joyce Souders.

He was preceded in death by his mother; two infant sisters; grandparents; and uncle, Harold Lee Terry Cushwa II.

Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with the Rev. Rachel Crumley officiated.

Interment will be private.
