Roger L. Frye

Roger Lee Frye, 76, of Inwood passed away on Friday Dec. 3, 2021.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1945 in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and was the son of the late William (Harvey) P. Frye and Josephine Elizabeth Breeden.

He enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, camping along the Chesapeake Bay and spending time with family and friends.

Roger started his mechanical career in Martinsburg in the late 60’s, working for Johnny Spichler, Shug Kisner, and Wagner Chev-Olds. In the 70’s he opened Rogers Rosemont Service.

In 1992 Roger founded and opened Rogers Tire and Auto Service Inc. along with his wife Cindy. After 29 years he retired in July 2021 and closed business.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Crowell Frye, one son: Michael Scott Frye; two daughters: Cathy Jo Boggs and Jennifer Brooke Smith; five grandchildren: Bradley, Hayley, Madison, Jake and Jayden; brothers: Paul and Allen; Sisters: Mary Anne, Peggy and Frances, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Frye.

Family received friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at Rosedale Funeral Home.
