Tamara M. Hawvermale

Tamara Michael Hawvermale, 52, of Shepherdstown went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 with her family at her side.
Born July 13, 1969 in Martinsburg, WV she is the daughter of Christine Hess Michael and the late Matthew Art Michael.
She was a drug screening technician for Berkeley County Day Report since Sept. 2017. Previously, she was a manager at Middle Creek Archery from May 2013-March 2015. This was a business owned by her parents, where she worked alongside her mother. She had been a notary since 2016. Tammy worked at MAAX by Akers in Customer service, benefits administrator, payroll and human resources. She graduated from Musselman High School in June 1987.
She was a member of Inwood Assembly of God for thirty-years under Pastor James Schuelke. Through the years she served her church and Jesus in many ways by teaching in Royal Rangers, Missionettes, took notes at business meetings, help with church dinners, assisted with custodial duties, loved to mow the lawn, spearheaded the church media department; and worked wherever needed.
Tammy became a licensed minister with Apostolic Association of Related Ministers under Bill and Sylvie Sudduth.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Donald Hawvermale, Jr.; one son, Andrew Milburn and his wife, Carol; one daughter, Meagan Milburn; step-son, Brandon Hawvermale; grandson, Damian Milburn; a sister-in-law Lisa Dutko; two nieces, Lexi Elizabeth Dutko and Tessa Dutko; a nephew Les Dutko and a father-in-law Donald Hawvermale, Sr. Also a number of cousins and aunt Cindy (Bobby) Lilliard.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Leroy Coulter and Kenneth Hess, Sr., Catherine and Charles Greenwalt, Raymond and Gloria Michael, uncles Kelly, Mitchell and Kenneth Hess, Jr; and aunt Peggy Grantzow.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at Inwood Assembly of God, officiated by Pastor James Schuelke.
