Shirley J. Ahalt

Shirley Jean Ahalt, 75, of Ranson, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at her home.

Born Nov. 11, 1946 in Martinsburg, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Reese Taylor and Helen Clemons Taylor.

She was of Christian faith.

She retired from DALB with 21 years of services. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a kind dedicated friend to many. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her flowers. The family is especially grateful to her granddaughter Chelsea, for her kind care of Shirley.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Shepherd of Charles Town and Debbie Shepherd and Husband, Jim of Harpers Ferry; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Hinton, Theresa Hoffmaster and Sandi Taylor; one brother, Gene Clemons as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Gary E. Weister.

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

Interment will be private.
