James William Ingram

James William Ingram, 69, known to his friends as “Jimi James,” died July 16, 2022, after accepting Jesus Christ as his savior.

He was born Sept. 16, 1952, the son of the Emery and Lottie Ingram.

He was a member of the 1970 Shepherdstown High School baseball state championship team. He worked as a laborer all of his life in the sod field and construction with various companies.

He is survived by two brothers, Thomas and Martin; nieces, Kristina Akins and Shelley Kurt; and great-niece Lucy Kurt.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Keedy and Charlotte Akins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of The Eastern Panhandle, who along with his brothers cared for James in his final days.

There will be no services.
