Benjamin J. Gunn
Benjamin Joseph Gunn, 40, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Jefferson Medical Center, Ranson, WV.
He was born March 3, 1982 in West Point, New York and was the son of Lawson Gunn.
He attended St. James the Greater Catholic Church.
In addition to his father, Lawson Gunn he is survived by one daughter, Bevin Vadillo; two sons, Levi and Noah Gunn and their mother, Kelsea; sister Rebecca Caico and loving girlfriend, Lynn Morris.
He was an U.S. Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne. He was very involved in the wounded warrior project, Team River Runner and was an avid boater. He received his Bachelors from Shepherd University, Class of 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Collin Poston as celebrant. Interment was at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery in Flintstone, Maryland at 2 p.m.
The family received friends Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with a Vigil and Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
