Peggy J. Macowsky

Peggy Jean Macowsky, 83, of Falling Waters passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2022 at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown.

Born Jan. 6, 1939, in Front Royal, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Hopewell Hoffman and Pearl Kathleen (Derflinger) Hoffman. She was a dispatcher for the Martinsburg City Police Department and a member of Refuge Methodist Church.

Peggy is survived by her son Shawn L. Hoffman (Paula J.) of Marlowe; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Lilly) Hoffman; of California, and Sierra Hoffman of Falling Waters; one great grandchild, William Kade Hoffman; and two sisters, Barbara Bayliss of Winchester, VA, and Joyce (Karl) Hartig of Bedford, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Gregory Macowsky; and two sisters, Sherry Logsdon and Carla Keefer.

Services and interment are private.
