Carol A. Hite

Carol Ann VanMeter Hite, 80, of Shenandoah Junction passed away on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at her residence.

Born Feb. 11, 1942 in Shepherdstown she was the daughter of the late James Franklin VanMeter and Mable Leotha VanMeter.

She is survived by one son, James William Hite; two daughters, Robin Painter and Pamela Madeline Foster; grandson, Dwayne Painter and many other grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hite.

Family received friends on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at 1 p.m. Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Chris Walls officiating.

Interment was in Central Chapel Cemetery.
