Jessica D. May

On Nov. 27, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica Danielle May, 38, of Shepherdstown, left this world to meet her family on the other side.

Jessica was born April 26, 1984, in Martinsburg, she is the daughter of Carla L. May and the Late Curtis L. May, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of seventeen years, Randall Knight; one brother, Curtis L. May, and wife Cody; one sister, Brandy N. May; one nephew, Jake Nee; and several aunts; uncles; cousins; and her fiancé Andrew Lamanna.

Jessica was reunited with her father, Curtis; paternal grandparents, Carlton Judd May, Sr. and Dorothy H. May; maternal grandparents, Jessie “Nat” Lawson and Gerry Feliciano; uncles, Robert “Bobby” May, Mark May, and Jerry May; cousins, Carlton May, Jr., Christopher May, and Christine Day.

Jessica was a woman who loved to laugh and have a good time. Many of those fun times were spent camping on the creek. She had a quick wit and a sense of humor that would keep you laughing. If there was a camera around, she would be posing for it, if there was something shiny she was either wearing it or it was holding her attention. She was a true blue West Virginia wild child and will be missed by every life she touched.

A celebration of life service will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at 3 p.m. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
