Dawn Moore

Dawn Kathleen Moore, age 58 was born on May 22, 1964 in New London, Connecticut. Dawn passed away peacefully to be with God in Heaven forever on Wednesday April 26, 2023 at home under hospice care with her daughter, Heather and husband, Jim by her side holding her hand.

Predeceasing Dawn and welcoming her to Heaven are, Sister – Holly Lynn Robichaud, Mother – Kathleen Janet Tully Robichaud (Kay), Father – John Arthur Robichaud.

Surviving to cherish her loving and kind memories is Dawn’s Husband – James W. Moore (Jim), Daughter – Heather Dawn Munson, Step Son – Shane Phillip Moore, Daughter in law- Alexa Delatorre Moore, Granddaughter – Lola Alaina Moore

Dawn was a graduate of The Madeira School in 1982 and then went to Saint Mary’s College of Maryland and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1986. Dawn worked 33 years in commercial real estate as a general manager for Lerner Corporation. In 2011 Dawn discovered a new passion for glass art and in 2016 Dawn launched her own business making beautiful glass art, Best in Glass Studio. In 2019 Dawn left her 33 year career in commercial real estate to focus full time in her passion for glass art.

Services for Dawn’s celebration of life will be held at the Convenant Church in Shepherdstown WV on May 7, 2023. 2pm visitation and 3 p.m. service. Following the service will be a brief gravesite service at the historic Harpers Cemetery in Harpers Ferry WV.
