Joseph ‘Joe’ Wimer

Joseph “Joe” Wimer, 75, of Shepherdstown, WV, passed away on April 19, 2023.

He grew up in Martinsburg, graduated from St. Joseph’s High School, and went on to graduate from Shepherd University. He enjoyed architecture, antiques, sports and the outdoors.

He is survived by two daughters, a son, two grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe Wimer will be celebrated at 10 a.m. May 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas R. Gallagher, Celebrant. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkeley County Meals on Wheels, 116 E. King Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
