Lyle L. Butts

Lyle Leroy Butts, 89, of Shepherdstown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023.

Born May 8, 1934, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Cecil Lee Butts and Mary Pauline Kitchen Butts.

Lyle owned and operated a printing business. He was an avid Civil War historian and gun collector.

He is survived by his sons, Curt Butts, and Scott Butts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Walter Butts.

Services and interment are private.
