Hayley M. Ashbaugh

Hayley Marie Ashbaugh, 29, of Harpers Ferry, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2024. Born Nov. 17, 1994, in Ranson, she was the daughter of Richard Allan Ashbaugh, Sr and the late Hope Regina Jones.

Hayley attended Mission Tabernacle Church. She was a great mother and sister with an infectious laugh and a contagious smile. She was a very talented artist and liked singing. She made friends wherever she went.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Tazman McLaughlin; daughter, Hope McLaughlin; brother, Richard Ashbaugh, Jr, and wife Ashley, of Shepherdstown; three sisters: Megan Rickard, and husband Stephen, of Shepherdstown, Beth Ashbaugh, of Roanoke, Virginia and Eva Ashbaugh, of Martinsburg; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Whittington; fiancé Gary Eury and family; three nephews, one niece, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leo and Loula Belle Ashbaugh.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday Feb. 16, 2024 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Snow officiating. Interment will be private.

At the request of the children, if possible, please wear green and white to the service.
