Nellie B. White Ciarlante

Nellie B. White Ciarlante, 91 of Kearneysville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 in the Care Haven Center.

Born July 26, 1932 in Bardane, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee White and Nannie Branson Tharp White.

Nellie was a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. She worked as a personal care aide for Unlimited Agency. She lived most of her life in Saugerties, New York and moved back to West Virginia in 2012. Nellie loved to read, do word puzzles, crochet and loved to bowl.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Zisko of Florida and David Ciarlante of Kingston, NY, brother, Robert Lee White and wife Brenda of Kearneysville, sisters, Ethel Breeden of Shepherdstown and Ruth Farmer of Kearneysville, nieces, nephews and cousins, grand godchildren, Seantae and Kory Farmer, three great godsons, one great god-daughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph Ciarlante, sons, George Zisko, Thomas Ciarlante, Jr. and Joseph Allen Zisko, brothers, Martin Luther White and Edward Tharp White and sisters, Elsie Sigler and Thelma Painter.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Charles “Chuck” Donivan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
