On Jan. 25, at home in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Brandy Nicole May, 42, left this world to meet her family on the other side.

Brandy was born April 10, 1981, in Charles Town, she is the daughter of Carla L. May and the late Curtis L. May Sr. She is survived by her son, Jason “Jake” Michael Nee Jr. One brother, Curtis L. May, Jr, and his wife Cody L. May, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brandy was reunited with her father, Curtis May, Sr.; sister, Jessica; paternal grandparents, Carlton Judd May, Sr., and Dorothy H. May; maternal grandparents, Jessie “Nat” Lawson, and Gerry Feliciano; uncles Robert “Bobby” May, Mark May, and Jerry May; cousins, Carlton, May Jr, Christopher May, and Christine Day

Brandy was the life of the party. She was an avid reader of Harry Potter and many other fictional series alike. She loved Halloween. She loved to float and listen to music on a good summer day down the creek. She was a proud West Virginian and conspiracy theorist. Her German Shepherd, Bleu, was her best friend. Brandy was very quick witted, could light up a room just by walking in, and loved to make anyone and everyone laugh. Brandy was admired by many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
