May 13, 2024

Monica Faith Ballenger, age 50, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away May 3, 2024.

Monica was born on Oct. 4, 1973 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of Paul “Doug” Douglas Propst, Sr. and Mary “Jackie” Jacqueline Propst.

Monica had a smile and presence about her that would light up a room. She was the most kind hearted person you would ever meet. She brought so much joy to everyone she encountered. Monica loved her children more than anything. They were truly the loves of her life and gave her the drive to overcome many obstacles in life. She cherished her beloved grandson Landon and was full of excitement for the arrival of her granddaughter Macey Faith. Monica’s compassion and kindness is something that she exhibited towards others. She was in a chapter of her life where happiness shined through. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Doug and Jackie Propst of Charlestown, WV; her brother Paul “Dougie” Douglas Propst, Jr. of Middleway, WV; a loving son, Kyle Ballenger (Lauren); a loving daughter, Emma Ballenger; one grandson, Landon Kyle and a soon to arrive granddaughter, Macey Faith; her companion, Matthew Morse; two granddogs Khloe and Hazel; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends that she loved dearly.
