Paul Manzuk

Local pharmacist and businessman Paul Manzuk, 84, of Charles Town, WV passed away peacefully Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility with his family.
Paul was a Pennsylvania native born May 9, 1940. He was the son of the late George Manzuk, Sr. and Anna Glagola Manzuk.
Paul made Charles Town his home after graduating from West Virginia University where he received his Degree in Pharmacy. He began his career working at Nichols and Stuck Pharmacy in downtown Charles Town, later becoming the owner of Stuck and Alger Pharmacy. Paul retired from the pharmacy in 2009 after serving the community for over 47 years.
Paul also served for 24 years on the Jefferson County Board of Education, was President of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Jaycee’s.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula Moessner and husband William, of Reston, VA, Beth Manzuk and husband Peter Trivero, of Shepherdstown, WV, Barbara Yeager and husband Thomas, of Charles Town, WV; grandson, Benjamin Yeager; brother, Archpriest Myron Manzuk and wife Paula, of Minneapolis, MN; eight nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Elinor Kable Manzuk; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann Magerko and John; brother and sister-in-law, George Manzuk and Delores.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 110 West North Street, Charles Town, WV with The Rev. Duane Jensen and The Rev. John Rudolph officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in his name to the Hospice of the Panhandle for their Palliative Care program.
Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV.
