Robert ‘Todd’ Hartman

Robert “Todd” Hartman, 37, of Parkersburg, WV departed this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Todd was born in Enid, Oklahoma on March 11,1987, and was the son of Barbara Putz Hartman and Richard Ennis Hartman, step-father Terry Lindsay and step-mother Grace Hartman.

Todd was a bright, outgoing, loving, and witty man. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Shepherd University and later became a certified physical trainer. He loved exercise, bodybuilding, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, world history, mythology, and people. He made many positive strides in his recovery, he set goals and worked hard achieving many of his dreams. Cassy Offenberger-Uhl was his loving girlfriend, his rock and closest confidant and friend. He was supported by many caring people in the community. We will all miss him dearly.

He is survived by his parents, his long time girlfriend Cassy Offenberger-Uhl, his brother Luke Hartman, step-brother Ryan Lindsay (Kris), step-sister Megan Lindsay (Chance), grandmothers Barbara Frantz Mauck and Martha Knott Putz, his uncles Steven Todd (Orfa), Matthew Putz (Wendy), David Hartman (Pamela), Robert Hartman (Sun Young), cousins Matthew Tyler Putz, Susan Marilyn Putz, Leonard Joseph Todd, Jane Ann Englese (Alex), Matthew Hartman (Mieke), Alicia Howard, and many more extended family. Todd is preceded in death by grandparents Robert Edward Putz, Glenn Hartman, Olga Lee Swim Hartman, Gary Mauck, aunt Susan Frantz Putz, great aunt Susan Tanner Knott, and cousins Spencer Todd and Andrew Knott.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 6 pm at the Belpre Church of Christ, 2932 Washington Blvd, Belpre, OH. Another memorial service was on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Washington St, Shepherdstown, WV.
