David Lee Hammond

David Lee Hammond, 69, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.

Born October 1, 1955 in Martinsburg, at King’s Daughters Hospital to the late Edgar Hammond, and Floella Bracher Hammond.

He was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson High School and studied Electronic Tech-nology at James Rumsey Technical Institute. He worked at Highs, as a manager, ABC group and later retired from Merkle.

David is survived by his sister-in-law, Deborah Hammond; nephew, Andrew (Jenn) Hammond; and niece, Sarah (Sean) Chapelle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Hammond.

The family will have a private burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.
