Lawrence E. Crouse of Kearneysville, WV passed away peacefully at his home on Thanksgiving Day November 28, 2024.

Larry was born January 23, 1951. He was the second son of Arthur and Gertrude Crouse of Martinsburg.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Martha Miller Crouse; his beloved children and spouses: Emily (Keenan) Shanholtz of Romney, Abraham (Diana) Crouse of Kearneysville, Laura (Sean) Sevachko of Harpers Ferry; and his adored grandchildren: Easton, Averie, Addlie, Everson, Anderson, Amelia, Isaac, and Lillian.

He was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School class of 1969 and attended Shepherd University. After which he opened his own business, creating timeless pieces of furniture, selling to collectors and antique enthusiasts across the country. The Lawrence Crouse Workshop provided treasured heirlooms for over 50 years. His legacy endures through his son, Abraham, who continues the family tradition of furniture making. Larry’s dedication to his craft was only surpassed by his love for his wife and family.

A small family gathering will be held at a later date.
