Donald Dunn

Donald “Donnie” Lee Dunn, Jr., 43, of Ranson, WV passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born March 6, 1982 in Fairfax, Virginia, he was the son of Donald Lee Dunn, Sr. and Beth Ann Propps Shipe.

He was a member of the Open Bible Tabernacle.

Donnie was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 2000. He coached for Harpers Ferry Youth Basketball, was a former Chief and member of Friendship Fire Company, current member of Independent Fire Company, and Worked for JCESA for the past 17 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Allison “Allie” Dunn, at home, two daughters, Baylee and Rachel, mother, Beth Ann Shipe and husband, Tojo, father, Donald Dunn, Sr. and wife, Karen, sister, Brooke Shipe, three brothers, Eric Shipe, Frank Dunn and Daniel Dunn, maternal grandmother, Ann McKee, step-grandparents, Nancy Shipe and Norman and Betty Richardson, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Irvin Propps, paternal grandparents, James Dunn, Sr. and Anna Dunn and Uncle James Dunn, Jr.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Ranson Civic Center, 432 W. 2nd Avenue, Ranson, WV 25438, with Pastor Samuel Snow officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
