Gordon Jay Glorfield

Gordon Jay Glorfield, 69, of Ranson passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at home. Born October 14, 1955 in Burley, Idaho, he was the son of Georgena Lou Schlecht Mills of Boise, Idaho and the late Jay Edward Glorfield.

Gordon served in the U S Army 1973-1979. He graduated from Shepherd University then worked as an information technology programmer and analyst for N.I.H. He loved the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, science fiction, was an avid reader, loved skiing and cross country skiing.

He is survived by his wife, Sherann Higgins Glorfield, three sons, Jarad Glorfield of Harpers Ferry, Alexander and Aaron Glorfield, both of Ranson, brother, Anthony Glorfield and wife Patty, of Marsing, Idaho and three grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary and Brandon Glorfield. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Douglas Glorfield.

Services and interment will be private.
