Ida Marie Twyman

Ida Marie Fox Twyman, 77, of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born September 11, 1947 in Martinsburg, WV to the late Calvin Fox and Beatrice Boyd Fox.

She retired from NIST and was of Methodist faith.

Ida is survived by her sons, Andre, Lamin, and Anthony; daughter, Carla; grandchildren, Shayla, Leila, Devin, Leilani, Isabel; sister, Nancy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Andre Twyman

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11AM at Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Derek Shackelford officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
