Martha ‘Sis’ Anna Youngblood

Martha Anna “Sis” Youngblood, age 87, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, WV.

Born August 22, 1937 in Hancock, MD, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Daniel and Pauline Ruth Unger Youngblood.

She attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Sis enjoyed painting bird houses, gardening, recycling and coloring.

Sis is survived by her sister, Edith Pearl Cave of Berkeley Springs, WV and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two sisters, Eileene Faye Miller and Irene Doyle and one brother, Vernon Youngblood.

The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. Private burial was in Greenway Cemetery.
