Sandra Kay Walker

Sandra Kay Walker, 78, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born September 13, 1946, in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine Daugherty. She was of the Christian Faith.

Sandra was a proud graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, class of 1964. She had a B.S. from Shepherd College class of 1969. She was an accomplished astrologer and author and was an avid reader.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Natasha Cortez-Caja and husband, Cesar; two granddaughters, Samantha Kay, Jaslyn India; one sister, Margaret Perini; two nieces, Matte Hancock and husband, Creine, Danielle Hartenstein and husband, Adam; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Peter, Gabriel, Violet, Emilia and Elias.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Hancock.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
