Mary Frances Sperow

Mary Frances Sperow, 92, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born September 26, 1932, at her grandfather’s farmhouse at Dam #4 in Shepherdstown, she was the daughter of the late Orval “Vic” Vincent Miller and Geneva Hartley Miller.

Mary and her husband, Donald, were the owners of the Bedington Crossroads Store and Colonial Flowers and Gifts; she was a member of First Baptist Church since 1950; she was a member of two garden clubs in Berkeley County. She had a love of flowers and beautiful decorating. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life.

She is survived by her son, Donald Lee Sperow, II; daughter, Anne C. Bohrer and husband James “Ed”; two grandchildren, Christopher L. Sperow and Laura B. Rowe and husband Michael; five great grandchildren, Kiyaah, Skarlette, Ryland, Connor, and Helena; brother, Orville V. Miller, Jr. and wife Martha; and sister, Betty A. Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Sperow, and a daughter, Cynthia Sperow Snyder.

Services and interment will be private.
