A time for cheer
This time of year is wonderful – especially when sharing it family and friends. That tradition can be continued this weekend in Shepherdstown.
Last weekend was enchanting for families as they walked the streets of Shepherdstown, the buildings lined with Christmas lights and the businesses’ doors open to all, selling goods and with sips and sweets waiting to be gobbled up.
This weekend will surely impress, as the Christmas in Shepherdstown events continue with a 250th celebration twist.
The Christmas parade, set to kick off tomorrow at 11 a.m., will be bigger and better than in years past, with the the theme “Remember-Celebrate-Imagine” ringing throughout the parade.
Community members near and visitors from afar came to partake in the festivities last weekend, and we hope to see many of you supporting our town and local organizations again this weekend. Free carriage rides, ice sculpture exhibitions and luminaries at night after the parade are sure to please individuals of all ages.
