I just received my new AARP bulletin for January-February and on the “State News” page 36 has AMAZING figures for the deficit budgets of all the states and D.C.

I printed a few of the figures on a comment under “Unfunded Benefits.” Only four states (Alaska, Arkansas, Montana and North Dakota) have budgets that are in the black. There are EIGHT states whose deficits are over 30 percent and they all largely democrat and have the highest tax base.
