Homeowners should open doors
As the oldest town in West Virginia, Shepherdstown is rich in beautiful historic properties. Those of us involved in planning Shepherdstown’s 250th anniversary hope that owners of these wonderful properties will agree to open their doors and share the glories of Federal style architecture and history with others during a season of community and sharing. We invite Shepherdstown’s residents to participate in a historic homes open house event scheduled to take place in conjunction with the kick off of (SQ250) celebration taking place the first weekend of Christmas in Shepherdstown 2011 (Nov. 25 and 26). For the opportunity to showcase your beautiful and historic home, richly decorated for the holiday season, please contact Debbie Hodge by phone at 304-876-8003 or by e-mail at schills@comcast.net.
We would like to thank all the residents in advance for their generosity and willingness to participate in an exciting 250th birthday event for our very special town!
