Antonin Scalia with his keen intellect and unique brand of judicial activism, bypassed law, overturned precedent, and consistently tipped the scale of justice to the advantage of power and money at the expense of the poor. He scorned democracy, ruling for disenfranchisement by deceit, gerrymandering, burdensome voter ID laws and his veto of a full vote count in Florida.

No man would triumph the loss of life, with the possible exception of Judge Scalia, who presided over the incarceration of a generation of disadvantaged young men, and advocated sending mentally ill children to death row.

With the possible appointment of a new impartial and humanitarian Supreme Court Justice, I have hope that I will be able to raise my flag, for the first time.
