I appreciated your endorsement of life in your Jan. 27 editorial. I hope that this paper also endorses programs that create a culture of life beyond birth, especially for those in our society who need it most: universal healthcare, full support for education, food and nutrition assistance programs, affordable housing and keeping our country an open and welcoming place for all families and children running from war and seeking a better life. We must create a culture of life that lets all citizens flourish, and only then can we truly imagine what they could accomplish.
